Beamish Museum Wedding Photography

Its not often you get the chance to photograph a wedding at an open air Museum, so when Caroline from The Twins wedding photography asked me to second shoot for them at Beamish Museum I jumped at the chance.

Fiona and Ryan got married in St Marys Church in Whickham then it was a London bus ride up to Beamish Museum. The rain started lashing down just as the ceremony started and was just stopping as we got to Beamish Museum.

Our first stop was the Pockerley Old Hall, set in beautiful gardens with some stunning views. We then headed to the Edwardian Pit Village for some tasty Fish and Chips from Davy’s Fried Fish and Chip Shop. Then we jumped on the bus again and our next destination was The Town. Really stepping back in time the Town is a fantastic setting for a wedding and the Masonic hall makes for a great place to party!

It really was something special being part of Fiona and Ryan's day and a great location to have a wedding. I hope you enjoy the wedding photography from Beamish Museum and please do get in touch with any wedding photography enquiries.
