What a fantastic location Jesmond Dene House is for weddings. Situated in Jesmond Dene in Newcastle upon Tyne. Kiera and Pete's wedding was the second wedding I've photographed at Jesmond Dene House and I loved every minute of it! Really stunning place for wedding photography.

The weather was very kind to us with a sunny February day and not to cold! One thing about Jesmond Dene House is the variety of stunning locations to photograph the bride and groom. With many indoor and outdoor locations we made the most of the good weather. Kiera and Pete were keen to get a confetti shot outside the front of Jesmond Dene House and with the great weather we were good to go! A great plan from Kiera was to place a confetti box onto each of the 100 guests seat for the ceremony. This amount of confetti really helped make the shot. We also had fun photographing the couple portraits in the Jesmond Dene House wine cellar. Even managed to resist the temptation for a quick gulp of champaign! I really enjoyed capturing lots of candid moments also with my new Fuji x100s camera, a real quality product that Im looking forward to using more this year.
