Its that time of year again when I look back over last years weddings and pick my favourite photographs.

2022 was a busy year for weddings and its been a tough choice to pick a selection of favourites.

I was lucky enough to document so many lovely weddings and travelled to some new locations.

Edinburgh zoo was a bit different and managed to photograph a couple portrait with a Lemur! Plus lots of lovely venues in Northumberland, Durham and Newcastle.

My style of photography is mainly Documentary and this year I really pushed myself to capture some great moments and further tune my instincts. Its definitely a skill that matures over the years and as I go into my 12 year as a full time wedding photographer I cant wait to further improve and push those skills.

I was delighted to win a few international wedding awards in 2022 also. I made the final of the British Photography awards for the 3rd year in a row for the wedding category and also got named in the top 100 documentary wedding photographers…. IN THE WORLD! by This is reportage. Easily one of my biggest achievements to date and really shows how strong my documentary wedding photography has become.

I’ll start the year review with the award winning images then onto the rest of my favourites. I also put together a slideshow video which shows some more wedding moments and creative portraits.
